Kratom strains are divided into three colors, which can be explained by the degree of maturity of the leaves. However, in addition to red, green, and white varieties, there are also rarer "gold" varieties that are created by blending in fermented kratom powder. There are also differences in the regions where the leaves were harvested. This is how variety names like Red Thai, Green Borneo or White Sumatra are created. Each variety has its own characteristics and is unique. Try different strains to find the perfect one for you!

About Kratom
What is Kratom?
article
Kratom, also known as Mitragyna speciosa, is a plant native to the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. It grows there as a tree or shrub and can reach impressive heights of up to 20 meters. The plant is best known for its green, glossy leaves that glow and shine in the sun.
The use of Kratom dates back centuries and has now spread to other parts of the world. The leaves of the kratom plant contain a variety of chemical compounds such as alkaloids and polyphenols. One of the most well-known alkaloids in kratom is mitragynine, also known as 9-hydroxycorynantheidine.
Kratom powder is made from the dried leaves of the plant. To do this, the leaves are ground into a fine powder, which is ideal as a natural plant color. Kratom comes in a variety of colors, mainly greens, reds, and whites, resulting from the different times at which it's harvested. If you want to know more about the history, uses or how Kratom is made, we recommend reading our in-depth article on our website (To the blog).
